Cardozo School of Law: 50 Years of Daring Daily
September 2025 marked the start of Cardozo’s 50th year, which will culminate with a celebratory gala in the fall 2026. We have so much to celebrate! When Cardozo opened its doors in 1976, we attracted a group of plucky, courageous students who took a chance on what Cardozo would become. Our impressive inaugural faculty attracted immediate attention. They dared to aspire to greatness, and we have met that aspiration.

We're proud to share a 97% overall job placement rate for the Class of 2024! Over 93% secured full-time, long-term roles requiring bar admission or offering JD advantage and 100% (15) of students in the Criminal Defense Clinic accepted positions as public defenders.
