Cardozo welcomed its newest admitted students through a "Virtual Admitted Students Day" via Zoom video conference.

Good morning! Today marks the start of a revolutionary day in legal education, as the great majority of law schools move to distance learning platforms. This is a grand experiment that has presented daunting challenges for students, professors and administrators. I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone in the Cardozo community for approaching this challenge with grit, determination and resilience.

As I’m sure you are aware, the health situation in New York City continues to evolve and the state government is now recommending that all employees who can work from home do so. The University has decided that all nonessential employees must work from home. Accordingly, the library is now closed and administrative staff will instead be available by phone, email, or videoconference.
