Podcasts Killed the Radio Star: The Podcasting Takeover of the Modern Era Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m.   The panel will revolve around the legal, business, and creative implications involved in the decline of terrestrial radio and its replacement with new forms of media - namely, podcasts. We will also discuss issues that stem from creating content, acquiring guests and other talent, and distributing material on DSP's.   Moderator:Lois Herzeca, COO of MouthMedia Network & Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School   Panelists: Jessica Harper, Actress, Songwriter, Author, and Founder of the "Winnetka" podcast   Hanjoong (Han)Kim, Associate at Sheppard Mullin who works primarily on entertainment business transactions (with a focus on podcasts)Larry Miller, Director of Music Business at NYU, President & Executive Producer of the "Musinomics" podcast, with former experience in radio with Z100 and NBC CLE APPROVED: This program is approved for up to 1.5 transitional/non-transitional New York State CLE credits in the category “Areas of Professional Practice".
