Ron Sullivan was the lawyer and Harvard professor who chose to represent Harvey Weinstein and then was eventually removed from his post as house Dean in part, it seems, because of his choice of client.

Rebecca Fischer, the Executive Director of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, will discuss activist responses to gun violence in conversation with Cardozo students. Co-sponsored by the Floersheimer Center. Ms. Fischer will discuss how lawyers can get involved in the gun violence prevention movement through legislative advocacy and litigation, and the many different ways in which having legal training is relevant to this movement. She will also discuss the different campaigns NYAGV is working on and how students can get more involved in these various campaigns.
