Annual tuition rate increases are effective starting with the summer semester, which is the first official semester of each academic year. The estimated student budget allows for a simple graduate student lifestyle. This budget determines the total amount of aid (loans, grants, scholarships and resources) that a student may receive in an academic year.
Living Expense Budget for the 2024 - 2025 academic year:
Room
- $16,000 (Fall and Spring) - $1,600 per month x 10 months
- $19,200 (Summer, Fall and Spring) - $1,600 per month x 12 months
Students residing in The Benjamin (the school's residence hall) will automatically have the "Room" portion of their living expense budget adjusted to match their housing charge.

Loan Fees**
The student loan origination fee is based on a $20,500 federal Stafford loan is automatically added to students' financial aid budget. Students who reside in The Benjamin (Cardozo's residence hall) will have the "Room" portion of their financial aid budget automatically increased to match the proper rate for the current academic year. Students who do not reside in The Benjamin may have their "Room" or any other estimated budget item within the annual Cost of Attendance reviewed for an increase through our Budget Adjustment Process (see below in Additional Information).

Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP): Yeshiva University requires that all students enrolled for 6 credits or greater have health insurance. If you are a US Citizen, you may be enrolled in a family or employer plan. If your plan has a network of providers in New York City, you can apply for a waiver on UHP's website. For domestic students who are not currently insured through family or employer plans and for international students, Yeshiva University has partnered with University Health Plans (UHP) to provide health insurance that meets ACA and Visa Requirements. Note all plans must be Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant.
