Since the American approach to incarceration has come under intense scrutiny in recent years, considerations of international approaches have been neglected as a source of inspiration and direction. Baz Dreisinger is one of the few researchers who have realized the potential for change in adopting a comparative international framework, to change the way we view prisons and to step away from the Americentric model of criminal justice reform. She will be holding an informal Q&A to talk about her research and what she thinks about how we can use failures and successes from different existing models to enact meaningful changes to our system that will pave the way for abolition. date_range Add to Calendar share Share LinkedinTwitterEmailemailFacebook
