On July 18-19, 2022, more than 50 criminal law scholars from around the country gathered at Cardozo for CrimFest, an annual conference dedicated to cutting-edge works in progress in criminal law and procedure, which is open to all scholars writing in these fields. Participants workshopped articles on policing, punishment theory, and technology and algorithms, among many other topics. This was the first in-person CrimFest since 2019, as the conference was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cardozo professors Alma Magaña, Kathryn Miller and Jessica Roth presented draft papers.
