The Cardozo Law Library supports the accessibility and mobility needs of our patrons. The main entrance to the library on the 7th floor has an automatic door. There is an accessible single-stall bathroom on the 7th floor near the entrance. Study Room 717 has an electric adjustable-height table to accommodate wheelchairs or standing needs. We also have bookstands, portable standing desks, and seat cushions available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.
The library does not have an internal elevator that travels between the floors of the library. Floors 6 through 9 in the library are connected via an internal staircase. For students unable to take the stairs, access to floors 6, 8, and 9 via the elevator can be arranged. Students in need of this accommodation should contact Ellen Drucker-Albert, Head of Reference & Collections (ellen.druckeralbert@yu.edu).
Other accommodation assistance is also available through the Office of Student Services & Advising (cardozostudentservices@yu.edu).
