Education benefits are available for the following chapters:
Chapter 30 - Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty (MGIB-AD): for eligible veterans who've served at least 2 years on active duty.
Chapter 30 - Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR): for members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard Reserve, Army National Guard, or Air National Guard.
Chapter 31 - Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E): for eligible veterans with service-connected disabilities.
Chapter 33 - Post-9/11 GI Bill: for eligible veterans who've served on active duty on or after 9/11/2001.
Cardozo School of Law proudly participates in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Yellow Ribbon Program.
Post-9/11 GI Bill recipients may also be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program, which will cover any remaining tuition and fees that the Post-9/11 Bill does not cover.
During the 2023-2024 academic year, Cardozo School of Law will contribute an unlimited amount of funding (to be matched by the VA) for an unlimited number of qualifying post-9/11 veterans under the Yellow Ribbon Program.
- Unlimited amount of funding means Cardozo School of Law will cover 50% of the remaining tuition and fees that exceeds the Post-9/11 GI Bill contribution. The VA will cover the other remaining 50% of the tuition and fees. 100% of the student’s tuition and fees would be covered!
- Unlimited number of qualifying post-9/11 veterans means Cardozo School of Law will offer Yellow Ribbon to every eligible veteran matriculating at Cardozo. Cardozo does not put a cap on the number of recipients per academic year.
Chapter 35 - Survivors and Dependents Assistance: for eligible dependents and surviving spouses of a veteran.
