Dean's Speaker Series - Bess Chiu 09
https://cardozo.yu.edu/events/deans-speaker-series-bess-chiu-09-0Apr 14, 2021Bess Chiu joined the Administration in 2014 and previously served as Associate Counsel to the Mayor and Managing Counsel. In her current role, she works with senior policymakers in City Hall and across city government to provide oversight and guidance to critical projects including the City’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A lifelong New Yorker, and an experienced public interest lawyer, she has also served as an attorney with the City’s Administration for Children’s Services, where she prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases. During this event, Bess will speak about her career responsibilities in public service and the path that led to her current position. This event is open to Cardozo students and alumni.
