
Professor Weiss is an adjunct clinical professor for the Cardozo Mediation Clinic. Professor Weiss supervises mediation clinic students in New York City Small Claims and Civil Courts and employment discrimination matters pending before the EEOC.
Professor Weiss serves as a mediator for the Second Circuit Mediation Program (CAMP) and as a Special Master for appeals to the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department. She is a member of numerous rosters and panels, including the mediation panels of the District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Supreme Court of the State of New York (Commercial Division), the American Arbitration Association, FINRA’s Roster of Arbitrators and the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals. Professor Weiss is a mediator for HWH Mediation LLC and primarily handles employment discrimination matters. Prior to working as a neutral, Professor Weiss was a partner at Shulte Roth & Zabel in the Employment & Employee Benefits Group.
Professor Weiss is a longstanding member of the Board of Directors of the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding and she spoke at the Tanenbaum Center’s Fall Briefing together with the EEOC Commissioner Keith Sonderling this fall.
