UPDATE MARCH 16: BUILDING CLOSING TIME CHANGED TO 8PM
Dear Students,
As I’m sure you are aware, the health situation in New York City continues to evolve and the state government is now recommending that all employees who can work from home do so. The University has decided that all nonessential employees must work from home. Accordingly, the library is now closed and administrative staff will instead be available by phone, email, or videoconference.
On Monday and Tuesday (March 16th to 17th) between 8am and 8pm, students may come into the building for up to 30 minutes to retrieve items from their lockers. Please note that security may limit the number of students in the building at any time to ensure social distancing. We appreciate your help if you are asked to return at a later time.
As we start online classes tomorrow, we hope everyone remains safe and continues to be diligent about limiting social contact. We know that you will continue to be mindful of the most vulnerable among us by taking the health officials' recommendations seriously. This is a challenging time, and we thank you again for your grit, adaptability, and patience.
Best,
Dean Kim
