
Dean Melanie Leslie and Vice President for Institutional Advancement Adam Gerdts are pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel McNassor as Associate Dean of Advancement at the Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. McNassor is an experienced advancement professional with an impressive track record of fundraising successes. She has worked at Yeshiva University since 2019 in posts of increasing responsibility, which will help build institutional cohesion for growth. McNassor will retain the title of Associate Vice President of Advancement at YU while also leading the Cardozo advancement efforts.
“As we plan our upcoming capital campaign, we will be very fortunate to have Rachel leading the charge,” said Dean Leslie. “Rachel is smart, strategic and passionate about Cardozo Law School. I have worked very closely with Adam Gerdts to develop a new strategy for growth at the law school and I believe we have put the right team in place for success.”
McNassor has over fifteen years of experience in philanthropy. Her background includes a mix of non-profit and higher education appointments at the San Francisco Symphony, the Jewish Home of San Francisco and the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. She has set ambitious goals and is excited about partnering with Dean Leslie and the Cardozo Board of Overseers to help bring the law school to even greater heights.

McNassor earned a B.A. in Comparative Religious Studies from William Jewell College in Liberty, MO and a M.S. in Music from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA.
