Cardozo is the ideal place to study corporate, securities, and commercial law, offering a comprehensive curriculum taught by professors who are recognized experts in their fields. Core courses familiarize students with corporate law's fundamental concepts and theories, and upper-level courses focus on advanced topics and specific practice areas. The Heyman Center on Corporate Governance supports research in environmental law, financial institutions, antitrust, mass tort litigation, alternative dispute resolution (including business and securities arbitration), employment law, international and comparative business, investment and trade, and commercial law. Trial Advocacy Law
Cardozo was the only school to receive an A+ grade from preLaw in the magazine's latest edition. Our curriculum prepares students for trial proceedings by providing hands-on opportunities. A cornerstone of Cardozo's practical skills curriculum is the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP). In this two-week immersion course, held each January, students learn cutting-edge strategies for courtroom litigation from leading jurists and lawyers from across the country. Learn more
