Cardozo Fashion Law Society’s “Women In Fashion” Panel will bring together women working across the fashion industry in both legal and non-legal careers, representing a diverse range of backgrounds and areas of expertise. Panelists will have the chance to share their career journeys, discussing how they entered the fashion industry, what their day-to-day responsibilities entail, how their careers have evolved over time, and what challenges and pivotal moments shared their trajectories. Additionally, the panel will touch on the evolving role of women in leadership roles, questions of diversity and access, and the realities of working in the fashion industry. Students and attendees will get a view of the paths available within the fashion industry, along with practical advice for those looking to break into the field. This event is in collaboration with the Minority Law Student Alliance (MLSA) and the Women’s Law Initiative (WLI).
