Join us for lunch with Professors Mustapha Mekki, Nathalie Blanc, and Bernard Haftel for a Franco-American conversation on artificial intelligence and the law!
Artificial intelligence confronts the law with questions that are systemic, unsettling the foundations of legal reasoning and legal education; deterritorialized, arising from technology that operates beyond any single jurisdiction; and transnational, demanding answers no single legal system can give alone.
Copyright, intellectual property, and internet governance are being reshaped, in real time, by tools that learn and circulate across borders. This symposium brings French legal scholars to a Cardozo audience for a comparative reading: French and European law face the very same difficulties as American law, yet often reach markedly different solutions.
Limited capacity.
