David Enrich, author of Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump, and the Corruption of Justice
Enrich, The New York Times’s Business Investigations Editor, has written a book about Jones Day, the firm that represented the Trump campaign and much of the Fortune 500, including R.J. Reynolds and Purdue Pharma. The rise of Jones Day illustrates the changes that have swept the legal industry in recent decades. Enrich makes the compelling central argument that law firms like Jones Day play a crucial yet largely hidden role in enabling and protecting the powerful in business and politics.
Enrich will be interviewed by Professor W. Bradley Wendel, Edwin H. Woodruff Professor of Law at Cornell Law School.
This event will be held in person in the Fifth Floor Faculty Lounge. In person space is limited. Please register above if you want to join us on campus. The event is open to the general public. Seating is limited. RSVP mandatory.
