Prior to joining Cardozo School of Law, Stephen Iannacone was a trial attorney at the law firm of Spiegel & Barbato, LLP. He specialized in civil litigation in all New York venues and argued several appeals in the First Department. He also joined Pace Law School as an adjunct professor in the spring of 2014. At Pace Law School, he taught the Advanced Analytical Skills course and MBE Strategies course to third-year students preparing for the Bar Exam as well as Principles of Legal Analysis which focused on legal writing and analysis for second-year students.
Stephen graduated magna cum laude from Pace Law School in 2011. While a student at Pace, he received his certificate in environmental law, was a member of the Animal Law Moot Court team, served as an articles editor for the Pace Law Review, and worked as a Dean's Scholar. Stephen took part in the Federal Judicial Honors Program in which he spent a semester clerking for the Honorable Lisa Margaret Smith at the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. Stephen is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
