Sam Feldman is a senior staff attorney at Appellate Advocates, where he handles criminal appeals on behalf of indigent clients in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. He practices primarily in the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Second Department, and the New York Court of Appeals. He received an A.B. in linguistics from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as Executive Director of the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, overseeing a law practice of over one hundred student attorneys who represent Massachusetts prisoners in disciplinary and parole proceedings. Since 2024, he has taught the Criminal Appeals Field Clinic at Cardozo Law School.
