Randall Tesser is a partner at Tesser, Ryan & Rochman, LLP. Mr. Tesser represents professionals facing disciplinary investigation or charges, reinstatement to practice, licensing and initial admission to practice, and character hearings. Mr. Tesser also advises professionals regarding the business side of their practice, including practice management, sale and purchase of a practice, employment matters, and partnership disputes.
Mr. Tesser is chair-elect of the New York State Bar Association (“NYSBA”) General Practice Section and an Editor-In-Chief for its Section journal, One on One. He serves as an appointed member of NYSBA’s Committee on Professional Discipline. Mr. Tesser is a member of the Board of Directors for the New York County Lawyers Association. The ABA Center for Professional Responsibility awarded Mr. Tesser the Rosner & Rosner Young Lawyer Professionalism Award. He is a member of New York’s Joint Committee on Fee Disputes and Reconciliation, the organization that oversees the attorney-client fee dispute programs in New York and Bronx counties.
Mr. Tesser is a frequent speaker in the fields of legal ethics and professional responsibility, having presented for the numerous public and private organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association, the Civil Trial Practice Institute, and as a guest lecturer at Cornell University and the New York City College of Technology. Mr. Tesser is an annual presenter at the Fee Dispute Arbitration Training program for New York State’s Joint Committee on Fee Disputes & Conciliation pursuant to Part 137.
Mr. Tesser obtained a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2017 where he also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tufts University.
