Marie-Louise Samuels Parmer is a Florida-based attorney who has represented individuals raising collateral challenges of wrongful conviction and unjust sentencing in serious criminal matters in Florida state and federal district courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Prior to focusing on collateral litigation, she tried numerous cases to jury verdict as an Assistant Public Defender in Hillsborough County, Florida. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida Frederick G. Levin College of Law in 1994, where she was a member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team. She has been lead or co-counsel on many notable appeals and was part of the team that exonerated Clemente Aguirre-Jarquin, a Honduran national who was wrongfully convicted of a double-homicide and sentenced to death by the State of Florida.
