Li is a partner at DiCello Levitt's New York office, where he focuses on securities and whistleblower litigations. In 2021 and 2022, Li worked as senior counsel to the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations under Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA). Prior to working on the Hill, Li served for over a decade as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the Civision Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, including four years as the senior counsel to the civil frauds unit, where he led the government’s investigation and litigation of Medicare Part C fraud, prescription drug marketing fraud, pharmacy billing fraud, and medical devices fraud matters. Li also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sidney H. Stein in the Southern District of New York and worked as a litigation associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and WilmerHale and as an enforcement counsel at FINRA. Professionally, Li is a member of the New York City Bar’s Federal Courts Committee and the Federal Bar Council Inn of Courts and a frequent contributor of “expert analysis” columns on the False Claims Act for Law360.
