Joseph L. Choe is an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he focuses his practice on international commercial and investor-state disputes spanning Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
Joe serves on the Arbitration and International Law Committees of the New York City Bar Association and is a Regional Representative of the young practitioners’ group under the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA). Joe is also an Editor for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog, focusing on East and Central Asia. He serves as an officer of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY) and sits on the associate board of the Korean American Community Foundation (KACF) and the executive board of Korean American Civic Engagement (KACE). He also sits on the WashU Law AI Advisory Board.
Originally from Colorado, Joe graduated with an A.B. magna cum laude in economics from Harvard College and J.D. from Harvard Law School and is admitted to practice law in New York and Washington, D.C.
