Gina arrived at Cardozo Law in 2025 after nearly three years at The Door, a comprehensive youth development organization in New York City that provides free legal, health, mental health, educational, and housing services to young people. At The Door, Gina represented vulnerable youth—many of whom are undocumented, unhoused, and/or LGBTQIA+—in immigration court and helped them pursue humanitarian immigration relief through affirmative applications. While in law school, Gina interned with the Legal Aid Society and Al Otro Lado, a bi-national nonprofit that provides holistic legal and humanitarian support to migrants on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Gina holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Master’s in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford.
