Catherine Lifeso is a Director of Enforcement at NYSE Regulation, with responsibility for enforcing compliance with NYSE Exchange rules and federal securities laws by NYSE broker-dealer member firms. Before joining NYSE Regulation, Ms. Lifeso was senior enforcement counsel in the SEC Enforcement Divison’s Asset Management Unit, a national specialized unit that focuses on misconduct by investment advisers, investment companies, and private funds. She previously worked in the litigation practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, with a focus on white collar defense and investigations. Ms. Lifeso served as a law clerk to Judge Douglas P. Woodlock of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
