Professor Redwood came to Cardozo Law in July 2025 from Seton Hall University, where she was an assistant professor at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations. Her research and teaching focus on international law, critical legal theory, and reparatory justice. Prior to her appointment at Seton Hall, Professor Redwood taught at the Howard University School of Law and at the New York University School of Law and served as the Interim Director of the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center at Howard Law School. Before teaching, Professor Redwood worked at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, the Strategic Litigation Project at the Atlantic Council, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Professor Redwood earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. from Princeton University.
