In fall 2021, ADR Competition Honor Society (ADRCHS) members Noah Page ’23 and Victoria Budhan ’23 took First Place at the 2021 Regional ABA Negotiation Competition. The ADRCHS had another big victory at the INADR Invitational Mediation Tournament when Jordan Stark ’23 received first place for “Top Overall Mediator.” ADRCHS also competed in the FINRA Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon, in which Antranik Chekemian ’22, Anna Chen ’22 and Mieola Easter ’23 placed first in the Arbitration Round.

In spring 2022, Janice Kwon ‘’23, Se Won Park ’23, Talia Heller ’23 and Anita Yu ’23 traveled to Prague to compete in a Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot hosted by Charles University. At the competition, Heller received an honorable mention as an individual competitor. Kwon, Park, Heller and Yu also competed in the virtual Vis Arbitration X Rio Pre-Moot and advanced to the semi-finals, placing in the top four out of 50 teams.
In March 2022, ADRCHS hosted the Intraschool Negotiation Competition in person for the first time since 2019. One hundred fourteen students participated. Sabrina Clifford ’24 and Sydney Clarke ’24 placed first, Danielle Halevi ’24 and Alexandra Newman ’24 placed second, Muna Yimam ’24 and James Fox ’24 placed third, and Nicole Chan ’24 and Sotir Zhupa ’24 placed fourth.
Each year the ADRCHS selects 16 to 18 students to participate in a summer ADR Moot Camp and to compete in domestic and international ADR competitions throughout the academic year.
