As a May/Summer-Entry Student, You Will
- Take first-year courses over three semesters – summer, fall and spring – and still graduate from Cardozo in three years.
- Attend fall and spring first-year classes with fall-entry students and learn from the same renowned faculty as students who start in the fall.
- Automatically join the traditional program in your second year, and graduate with fall-entry students in three years.
Annual tuition for the May/Summer program is equivalent to the tuition set for the fall program. First-year tuition will be billed over the three semesters.
"The May/Summer-Entry Program enabled me to acclimate myself into a new educational environment and set myself up for success as a law student. I was able to build a strong social circle, meet professors, and become familiar with the Cardozo community ahead of the Fall semester. I would recommend it to anyone considering it."

"Starting my law school career in Cardozo's May/Semester-Entry Program was a great decision. As someone who was working full-time before attending law school, the program allowed me to settle back into the school mindset before the fall semester. Further, it gave me the confidence to get involved in other programs during my first year of law school."

"The May/Summer-Entry Program was a no-brainer for me. The smaller class size provided an intimate setting for me to acclimate to this new chapter of my life and gain the confidence I needed to ask questions and speak my mind. I have never regretted my decision of applying to the May-entry Program and it may have been one of the best decisions I made during my time at Cardozo."
