The theme of this year’s Symposium is “Negotiation Strategies for War by Other Means,” where we will explore the changing landscape of international conflicts and the role that dispute resolution can play in preventing and improving cross-border discord.

As Secretary of Homeland Security, Johnson’s responsibilities included counterterrorism, cybersecurity, aviation security, border security, port security, maritime security, protection of our national leaders, the detection of chemical, biological and nuclear threats to the homeland, and response to natural disasters.Prior to becoming Secretary of Homeland Security, Johnson was appointed by President Obama to be General Counsel of the Department of Defense (2009-2012) and appointed by President Clinton to be General Counsel of the Department of the Air Force (1998-2001). On February 26th we will be hosting an exclusive screening of never-before-seen clips from "Brooklyn's Baldest." We'll also be joined by exonerated New Yorkers for a conversation focused on criminal legal reform.

Kenneth Anand is also the co-founder of 3 8 0 Group, a fashion licensing company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of premium apparel, footwear, and fashion accessories. From 2017- 2019 Kenneth was General Counsel and Head of Business Development at YEEZY Apparel, Kanye West's sneaker and fashion house. Jared Goldstein is also Legal Counsel at LiveIntent, an ad-tech and marketing company. Jared assists LiveIntent with all in-house legal matters, including advertising, technology, digital media, privacy and data protection, IP, compliance, and corporate issues.
