University Professor Michel Rosenfeld was the keynote speaker at the international conference on “Identitarian Constitutionalism” held at the University of Bologna Law School on November 14. He participated in a panel on “The Relevance of Schmitt's Illiberal Antipluralism to Contemporary Constitutional Democracy” at the NYU Law School international and interdisciplinary workshop titled “Is Carl Schmitt Still Relevant to Contemporary Public Law?” on November 20. Also, the Supreme Court of India cited his article “The Rule of Law and the Legitimacy of Constitutional Democracy" in its decision in the case of In Re: Directions in the matter of demolition of structures, 2024 INSC 866.
