Barry Werbin
Barry Werbin is counsel at Herrick, Feinstein LLP and a member of its Intellectual Property Group. Barry concentrates his practice in intellectual property and online issues (including trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, unfair competition, false advertising, publicity and privacy rights, trade secrets, domain name issues and UDRP arbitrations, digital rights protection, trademark and content licensing, Internet and traditional marketing and sponsorship agreements, publishing, due diligence and exploitation rights) and technology (including software licensing and development, IT support agreements, website development and hosting, and data and computer security breaches). Barry handles infringement and other complex commercial litigation and a broad variety of IP-related transactional matters.
Michael Ling
Michael represents and counsels clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, copyright, and open source issues. Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Michael worked as a technology transactions associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, focusing on IP-centered M&A and corporate transactions, including licensing, SaaS, and IaaS agreements, and as a litigator at Desmarais LLP, where he worked on patent infringement cases involving video streaming, computer architecture, and genetic testing technology. Michael is passionate about providing pro bono representation and has represented clients in immigration and trademark matters. Michael graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2018, where he was an executive editor of the Washington University Law Review. He is admitted to practice in New York. \
Monica A. Kulkarni
Monica Kulkarni is an Advertising, Marketing and Media associate in Manatt’s New York office with experience in advertising and intellectual property law. Before joining Manatt, Monica was an associate with the advertising law group of a national law firm. In this role, she focused on consumer protection and data privacy compliance matters for major brands and companies. Monica also assisted with cases and proceedings in front of the National Advertising Division and the Federal Trade Commission. In law school, Monica served as a judicial extern to the Honorable George Russell III of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She also was a student attorney with the University of Maryland School of Law Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic and a student volunteer with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, where she advised artists and small-business owners on business- and intellectual property–related matters. Monica graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2021. She is admitted to practice in New York.
