Allison (Allie) Mandeville (she/her) is a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic. Prior to joining the Clinic, Allie worked for several years as Appellate Counsel in the Immigrant Justice Practice of the Center for Appellate Litigation, pursuing direct and collateral post-conviction remedies for noncitizen clients in state criminal court and before the Appellate Division. Allie previously served as an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow at the Bronx Defenders, representing clients in detained and nondetained removal proceedings and providing Padilla counsel to clients and colleagues in the criminal, family, and civil defense practices. Allie received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar. While at NYU, she was a Student Advocate in the Immigrant Rights Clinic and Advanced Immigrant Rights Clinic. She also interned with Safe Passage Project, Brooklyn Defender Services, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Before law school, Allie was an Immigrant Justice Corps Community Fellow, working with clients in New York and Texas as a Board of Immigration Appeals Accredited Representative. Allie holds a B.A. in Modern Middle East Studies from Yale University.
