Professor Myriam Gilles testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee April 2 at a hearing called "Arbitration in America."
Law360's coverage of the hearing said, "Gilles told the committee that private arbitration agreements prevent men and women from coming forward about issues like harassment. She said, 'Secrecy is terrible because you can be working in a place and surrounded by people who have been victims of the same things that you have, but not know it. I think we deserve to work in places that are fully transparent and accountable.'"
