The Seventh Circuit has ruled that Code Section 107(2) is constitutional, overturning Judge Barbara Crabb's 2017 ruling that the section violated the Establishment Clause. The 7th circuit cites Professor Edward Zelinsky's book, “Taxing the Church” in upholding the constitutionality of the parsonage allowance. Forbes wrote an article about the decision.
