Reclining on planes is often contentious, with passengers arguing over tight spaces. Passengers on Delta Airlines won't be able to recline their seats as much as they used to and Professor Chris Buccafusco said in the Chicago Tribune that this new policy is, “Not helpful at all. The right answer is to try to allow people to sort it out and get to the best outcome without being jerks about it,” he said.
