Visiting Other Libraries
COVID-19 Policies
Currently, many libraries are in the process of reopening or are closed to outside law students.
Currently enrolled Cardozo students can access the following libraries without a pass, as long as they bring their Yeshiva University I.D. card:
- Cooper Union (located on Third Ave and 7th Street)
- Any Yeshiva University library
Convenience passes are currently not available.

No pass necessary
Currently enrolled Cardozo students can access the following libraries without a pass, as long as they bring their Yeshiva University I.D. card:
- Cooper Union (located on Third Ave and 7th Street)
- Any Yeshiva University library
- CUNY Law Library (Long Island City) (Non-CUNY law students only permitted Monday–Friday)
- Rutgers Law Library (Newark)
Convenience Passes
Students interested in semester-long access to another law school library for studying may obtain one pass per semester from the Cardozo Law Library Circulation Desk. A limited number of passes per school are available. Passes are usually made available after the first week of classes each semester.

- St. John’s University School of Law
- Touro Law Center
One-Day Research Passes
Limited one-day research passes may be available to Cardozo students who need access to a local academic library. To inquire, please visit the reference desk.
