Donna Erez-Navot ’06 Appointed Director of the Mediation Clinic at University of Florida Levin College of Law. This fall, Donna Erez-Navot ’06 became the Director of the Mediation Clinic at University of Florida Levin College of Law. Before joining the faculty at University of Florida, she directed the Cardozo Law School Mediation Clinic and was the Assistant Director of Cardozo’s Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution. Before joining the faculty at Cardozo, she was the Founding Director of the Mediation Clinic at University of Wisconsin. Before moving to Wisconsin, she was mediator in the Child Permanency Mediation Program in the NYC Family Court, where she mediated issues surrounding placement of children in foster care, including relationships and communication between parties, custody/visitation/guardianship petitions, conditional surrenders and other issues.
Brian Farkas ’13 was voted by students as the “Best Adjunct Professor” at the 2022 Cardozo Law School Graduation. He teaches Arbitration Law: Theory and Practice and Representation in Arbitration and is a litigation attorney at Arent Fox Schiff LLP.
Krysta Hartley ’20 was appointed adjunct clinical professor of mediation for the Cardozo Mediation Clinic for the fall 2022 semester. She is the Senior Management Analyst in the Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution for the New York State Unified Court System.
Maurice Robinson’09 received the inaugural Tziporah Pronman Award at the 10th Anniversary Gala of FamilyKind on May 5, 2022. FamilyKind is a non-profit that provides support and mediation services to families in transition due to separation or divorce regardless of their ability to pay. He is the Assistant Director of Workforce Diversity and Equal Opportunity Compliance at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.
Nick Schmitt ’15 was recently hired as the Senior Director of Conflict Resolution and Training for Community Mediation Services, a non-profit community dispute resolution center in New York City.
Stephen Wah ’17 was competitively selected to participate in the 2020/2022 class of American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) Higgenbotham Fellows, which provides training, mentorship and networking to a diverse group in the alternative dispute resolution field. He is a Managing Associate at Pasich LLP.
