Oscar Pelaez is Music Counsel at Google/YouTube where his responsibilities include negotiating and drafting digital license agreements with major music companies and performance rights organizations, product counsel work, and advising on regulatories matters. 

Oscar received his B.A. in Political Science from Villanova University and J.D. from Rutgers School of Law at Newark. Prior to Google, he was a part of the Business & Legal Affairs teams at Universal Music Publishing Group, Atlantic Records, and Kobalt Music Group.

In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, summers in Mallorca, and teaching contract drafting classes to 3Ls.
