Omar J. Siddiqi currently serves as a Senior Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the Office of the Corporation Counsel for the City of New York. His practice focuses on defending law enforcement personnel Section 1983 civil rights actions venued in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Specializing in complex settlement negotiations, he has also been Trial Counsel in over ten federal jury trials. His other experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Attorney General's Albany office's Litigation Division.

He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia University in 2009, and with a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2012.
