Leila is a Staff Attorney in the Family Defense Practice of The Bronx Defenders, where she has worked since 2015. Prior to joining The Bronx Defenders, she worked for two years as a Staff Attorney at the Office of the Appellate Defender, litigating criminal direct appeals. She received her J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. from Wesleyan University.
