Named one of New York's top 100 criminal defense attorneys, Jodi Morales is committed to creating a fair and accountable justice system. Morales began her legal career at The Bronx Defenders, working in its world-renowned Criminal Defense Practice, where she litigated countless cases to acquittal and negotiated thousands of dispositions saving many of her clients from criminal convictions, harsh prison sentences, and deportation. As a supervisor, Morales taught trial advocacy and negotiation to a team of junior attorneys and also worked in the Juvenile Defense Project where she represented youths charged as adults in Bronx County Supreme Court. In 2016, The Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice at Harvard Law School awarded Morales a research fellowship to work on death penalty cases.
