Stipends: Learning Practical Skills While Engaging in Impactful Work

One of the most significant ways we support our students is by providing summer stipends that enable them to work, unpaid, for nonprofit or government organizations. Our stipends give nearly 200 students a year the support they need to follow their passions and dedicate their time to causes about which they care deeply, and who are often serving vulnerable populations and underserved communities. We understand that a legal education is about more than just acquiring knowledge; it's about applying that knowledge to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Endowment for Financial Aid: Fueling Excellence and Breaking Barriers

At the core of every great institution is a substantial endowment dedicated to providing financial aid to students in need. Financial aid and scholarship support allows Cardozo students to pursue any career path about which they are passionate. Increasing aid is critical because it helps us attract bright minds and the next generation of leaders who will create positive change in society. An investment in scholarship support ensures that talent will not be stifled by financial constraints.

Increasing Access Through Financial Aid: Promoting Diversity and Inclusivity

Cardozo School of Law is resolute in its commitment to providing substantial financial aid to individuals with limited access to financial resources. This commitment is pivotal in leveling the playing field within the legal profession and promoting diversity and inclusivity.

Donor Opportunities

include scholarships, such as the Alumni Scholarship Fund and the David Martinidez Scholarship, as well as summer internship stipends. We invite donors to consider whether they can create an endowed scholarship or stipend. For more information, speak with our staff.
