The goal of The Heyman Center is to be a leading destination for the discussion and analysis of current corporate law issues, and for the enrichment of students in helping them prepare for their corporate legal practice. Focusing closely on this goal, we have introduced a number of initiatives to expand the scope and depth of teaching practical skills to students who wish to practice in transactional matters and corporate law departments.  Programs like ITRANS, transactional law competitions and I-FINS have made a great difference in students' experiential learning and gaining of skills that could be immediately applied in working on corporate and business law.
