Professor Jessica Roth appeared on MSNBC's Live with Hallie Jackson on January 24, discussing President Trump's recent statements and actions. Roth, a former federal prosecutor, said there is a "very strong case to be made that [President Trump's actions] constitute illegal witness intimidation under the federal obstruction of justice statute."

Dean Melanie Leslie offered Cardozo’s clinic students the opportunity to recount their experiences with hands-on clinical work, through a series of luncheon presentations for faculty and staff.

Cardozo offers eleven clinics that allow students to gain real-world experience in different practice areas of law.

The February 6 luncheon included presentations from three groups of clinic students, representing the Divorce Mediation Clinic, Benjamin B. Ferencz Human Rights and Atrocity Prevention Clinic and the Securities Arbitration Clinic.

21 mentors and mentees, all participants in Cardozo’s alumni/student mentoring program, came together for a networking event and panel on October 3, at the offices of Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP.

Spearheaded by the Offices of Alumni Affairs and Career Services and co-chaired by Noel Williams ’87 and Eric Hochstadt ’03, the program allows current law school students to connect with Cardozo alums in the professional legal world.

Cardozo students made their mark October 13 and 14 at the 10th Annual Securities Dispute Resolution Triathlon, with the ADR Competition Honor Society team composed of Emily Sappol, Lwam Stefanos, and Joshua Roseman winning First Place in the Arbitration round, taking a top prize for the second consecutive year. That team also captured Third Place in Negotiation Excellence.

August 16, 2018 - Excitement, nervous energy and a sense of opportunity were in the air as the members of Cardozo’s Class of 2021 arrived for their first day of orientation. Students mingled over a breakfast spread before gathering in the Jacob Burns Moot Court Room, where Dean of Admissions David Martinidez and Dean Melanie Leslie officially welcomed Cardozo’s newest class to the school.
