Professor Aaron Wright testified before the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, & Technology on various topics surrounding blockchain technology. He discussed the capabilities of blockchain, including its use for smart contracts, and the potential for the technology to impact a range of industries, improve commercial activity, transform capital markets and democratize capital.

McGoings presided over the investiture during a ceremony held July 29, 2016, in the ceremonial courtroom of the E. Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse in Washington, D.C.
