May 16, 2018 - Professor Anthony Sebok testified in front of the New York State Senate Committee on Consumer Protection at a hearing focusing on lawsuit lending and how the senate can better regulate third party litigation financing.
Sebok, who conducted the first large-scale study that has ever been done in this area, studied 100,000 cases over 15 years and said “until now, no one really knew the true cost of consumer litigation funding.”
