Employers know the value of a Cardozo law degree. Cardozo graduates are at work and sought after in every sector of the legal industry; from the largest law firms and financial compliance offices, to in-house legal departments at major fashion houses, to district attorneys’ and defenders’ offices.
Erica Schwartz '13 won second place in the New York Intellectual Property Law Association's William C. Conner Intellectual Property Law 2013 Writing Competition for her article "Red with Envy: Why the Fashion Industry Should Embrace ADR as a Viable Solution to Resolving Trademark Disputes," published in the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution in fall 2012. The competition is open to J.D. or LL.M. students who write about one of the traditional subject areas of intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair trade practices and antitrust). The awards ceremony will be held on May 21.
