Please Note - The published student health insurance rates for the 2024-2025 academic year on Cardozo's Tuition website are estimations as of 4/1/24 and subject to final approval by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYS DFS). Once officially approved, we will post the set rates.

Health Insurance Fee for the 2023-2024 academic year (August 15, 2023 - August 14, 2024): $5,342.

Students enrolled during Fall '23 & Spring '24 semesters will be charged $2,671 per semester.

Health Insurance Fee for the Fall 2023 semester, not enrolled during Spring '24 (August 15, 2023 - January 9, 2024): $2,175

Health Insurance Fee for the Spring 2024 semester, not enrolled during Fall '23 (January 10, 2024 - August 14, 2024): $3,192

Yeshiva University requires that all students enrolled for 6 credits or greater have health insurance. If you are a US Citizen, you may be enrolled in a family or employer plan. If your plan has a network of providers in New York City, you can apply for a waiver on UHP's website. 

For domestic students who are not currently insured through family or employer plans and for international students, Yeshiva University has partnered with University Health Plans (UHP) to provide health insurance that meets ACA and Visa Requirements. Note all plans must be Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant.

To apply for a waiver or to enroll:

1. Go to www.universityhealthplans.com/yeshiva.
2. On the left, go to the Waiver or Student & Dependent Enrollment Form
3. Enter your student ID and birthdate
4. Follow the instructions to complete the form. If waiving the insurance, have your current health insurance ID card ready as you will need this information in order to complete the waiver form.
