U.S. vs. E.U. Surveillance Law and Government Access to Consumer Data

Former U.S. Attorney and privacy expert Joseph DeMarco, Cardozo Professor Felix Wu, attorney Sylvain Métille, and ACLU attorney Nathan Wessler joined in a panel discussion on comparative surveillance law. The panel focused on Government mechanisms for requesting access to consumer data stored by companies in- and outside the U.S., current trends in data collection and retention, and a comparisson between U.S. and E.U. surveillance law models.
