Date
November 5, 2018 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
The Cardozo Law Institute in Holocaust and Human Rights and the Cardozo Law Indie Film Clinic will be having a special screening of “The Silence of Others.”
This film looks at the transitional justice and accountability struggles that victims of Spain's 40-year dictatorship under General Francisco Franco still face. The film follows the “Argentine Lawsuit” and fight against state-imposed amnesia of crimes against humanity. After the screening, a discussion will be held with Fernando Travesí, Executive Director of the International Center for Transitional Justice, and a reception will follow in the third floor lounge.
